Savior Privacy Policy
Effective 19 October 2026
This policy covers the Savior Android app (com.savior.app), which is distributed as a direct APK from https://falorax.com/savior and is not on Google Play. For the website see the website privacy policy. Questions or requests: support@falorax.com.
Your data stays on your phone
The subscriptions you add or choose to import (name, amount, billing cycle, dates, notes) and the app settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes this data.
- The app does not ask for internet permission, so it has no way to send data off your device.
- It shows no ads.
- It has no analytics.
- It does not collect, share or sell your personal data.
- It has no account or sign-in.
This describes version 1.0.0, checked against the app on 2026-10-19. If a future version changes any of this, we update this policy first.
Your SMS messages
If you grant the SMS permission, the app reads your messages on your device to find recurring charges, using the last 90 days of transaction messages. The message text is not uploaded anywhere. Only the subscriptions you choose to save are stored. You can deny or revoke the permission at any time in Android settings; adding subscriptions manually still works.
Permissions Savior asks for, and why
- Read SMS (READ_SMS). Used only to find recurring charges. Messages are read on your device. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot send them anywhere. If you deny it, manual entry still works.
- Notifications. Reminders before a charge and alerts for newly detected subscriptions (Android 13 and later).
- Run at startup. Re-schedules reminders after your phone restarts.
- Background work (WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, network state). Added automatically by Android's WorkManager library so reminders and background scans run on time. None of them gives the app internet access.
Plans and payments
Savior is free to use, for up to 5 subscriptions. There is no pricing and nothing is for sale — the app has no store, no account and no payment flow of any kind.
Backups
The app turns off Android's automatic cloud backup, so your data is not copied to your Google account by the app. Moving to a new phone means adding your subscriptions again or re-scanning your messages.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and the app does not share it with anyone. We disclose information only if the law requires it.
Children
Savior is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
