Cookie Policy

• Your theme choice (light, dark or system), in your browser's local storage, so the site looks the same next time.
• Your cookie choice (accepted or declined), in local storage, so we do not ask on every visit.
• Distraction test data: your latest score, recent scores and an optional name for challenge links, in local storage on your device only.
• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, through Firebase Analytics), only if you press Accept. They count visits and page views and record a few events such as starting the test or clicking a button, to show which pages are useful.

Nothing from Google Analytics is downloaded or run until you accept. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not show ads. The site has no accounts or sign-in.

The banner on your first visit asks whether Google Analytics may run. Accept and Decline work the same way and the site is identical either way. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer: declining stops collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies.

The site is served through Firebase Hosting and may be protected by a content delivery network (Cloudflare). To serve and protect the site these providers process technical request data such as your IP address, regardless of the choice above. See the Website Privacy Policy.

You can also block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Clearing local storage resets your theme, your cookie choice and your distraction test history.
