Falorax Focus Privacy Policy
Effective 30 September 2026
This policy covers the Falorax Focus Android app (com.falorax.focus). For https://falorax.com see the website privacy policy. Questions or requests: support@falorax.com.
Your data stays on your phone
The apps you choose to block, your focus modes, schedules, sessions, stats and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
- The app does not ask for internet permission, so it has no way to send data off your device.
- It shows no ads.
- It has no analytics.
- It does not collect, share or sell your personal data.
- It has no account or sign-in.
This describes version 1.3.2-beta, checked against the app on 2026-09-29. If a future version changes any of this, we update this policy first.
Permissions Falorax Focus asks for, and why
- Accessibility Service. Detects which app or short-video feed is on screen so it can be blocked in real time. While Study Mode is on, it also reads the browser address bar to allow or block a website. It does not log keystrokes or passwords, take screenshots, store app content or read your messages or notifications. Everything is processed on your device in the moment and is never saved or sent anywhere.
- Usage Access. Finds out which app is in the foreground and measures app usage, so blocking, daily limits and stats work.
- Display over other apps. Shows the blocking screen and the floating timer bubble during a session. No other overlays or ads are shown.
- Installed apps list. Lets you choose which of your installed apps to block.
- Exact alarms, notifications, foreground service, start on boot. Start scheduled sessions on time, show session status, keep a session running reliably and restore schedules after a restart.
- Battery optimization exemption. Optional. Asked for so Android does not stop blocking in the background.
You can revoke any permission in Android settings. Blocking features stop working without the permissions they need. The same list, in plain language, is on the Falorax Focus page.
Accounts and purchases
Falorax Focus has no accounts. If we add an optional Falorax Account in the future, we will update this policy first and the app will tell you before it asks you to sign in.
Falorax Focus is free at the moment. Any activation code you enter is checked on your device. If paid plans are added later, they will be sold through Google Play, which processes the payment, and this policy will be updated.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and the app does not share it with anyone. We disclose information only if the law requires it.
Retention and your choices
Data stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. To remove it, see Delete your account and data. For any other request, email support@falorax.com.
Children
Falorax Focus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
